Senior Fellow, Workforce Systems
National Skills Coalition seeks a Senior Fellow, Workforce Systems to join the policy team. The Senior Fellow, Workforce Systems will serve as NSC’s organizational expert on federal and state workforce policy development and implementation, with a particular expertise in programs and partnerships supported under the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
Senior Fellow, Workforce Data Policy
National Skills Coalition seeks a Senior Fellow, Workforce Data Policy to join the policy team. The Senior Fellow for Workforce Data Policy will serve as NSC’s organizational expert on federal and state workforce data policy development and implementation, with a particular focus on integration of workforce, education, and human services data systems.
State Network Manager Washington, D.C.
National Skills Coalition seeks a State Network Manager, who will work with the State Network Director, other NSC staff, and state partners to support the development and promotion of NSC’s SkillSPAN (Skills State Policy Advocacy Network) – a first-ever national network of state coalitions working to advance state skills policies. The state network manager will work to coordinate NSC staff capacities to provide customized technical assistance to state coalitions toward policy impacts. The state network manager will also help the state team develop policy peer learning opportunities across state coalitions.
Chief Finance and Administration Officer
National Skills Coalition is in search of a Chief Finance and Administration Officer (CFAO), who will provide input into the organization’s strategic direction from an operational and financial perspective, helping to ensure NSC’s fiscal stability and operational efficiency.
Supervising a Controller and small financial team, the CFAO designs and implements systems for financial management (budgeting and forecasting), grants management, expense tracking and accounting. The CFAO leads the negotiation of contracts for personnel benefits, office space, and other key vendors, and oversees management of staff payroll and benefits. The CFAO also supervises a small operations team responsible for staff support and training, office operations, technology, information management and other administrative needs.
