As National Network Manager, Jessica organizes workforce development stakeholders to maintain and grow the coalition’s national network. She recruits allies in targeted areas and collaborates with staff in facilitating action-taking on federal policy proposals. Jessica joined National Skills Coalition in 2016.
Prior to joining NSC, Jessica developed a background in workforce development and coalition-building as a vocational case manager for people with disabilities. She also served as a project manager for the Employment Instability, Family Well-being and Social Policy Network (EINet), and as a research assistant for two studies on precarious scheduling at the University of Chicago. Before returning to the East Coast, she held an internship in state policy at the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless.
Jessica holds a master’s degree in social work and social policy from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in Literature from New College of Florida. She is based in Washington, DC.
